Last Updated: March 30, 2014

Permago LLC (“Permago”) respects copyright law and the intellectual property rights of others, and fully expects our Permago members to do the same.

In appropriate circumstances, it is Permago’s policy to immediately terminate the Permago Accounts of Permago members who infringe, or are believed to be infringing the rights of copyright holders and their intellectual property rights.

Permago will respond swiftly and promptly to any claims of copyright infringement reported to Permago’s Designated Copyright Agent, identified in the sample notice below, in which the claims are carried out using the Permago website and/or mobile application (the “Site and Application”), and in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998, the full text of which may be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website at: http://www.copyright.gov/legislation/dmca.pdf

The following DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement (“Notice”) is for a copyright owner, or an individual or organization authorized to act on behalf of one, or an individual or organization authorized to act under any exclusive right under copyright, to complete and deliver to Permago’s Designated Copyright Agent to report alleged copyright infringement taking place on or through the Site and Application. Permago will take whatever action, in our sole discretion, and that we deem appropriate, including the removal of the challenged material from the Site and Application upon receiving the notice.

  2. Please provide reasonably sufficient information for Permago to locate the material that you claim is infringing (or to be the subject of infringing activity), including at a minimum, if applicable, the URL of the link shown on the Site and Application where such material may be found, so that Permago may remove or disable access to such infringing material.

  3. Please provide Permago with your mailing address, contact number, and if available, your email address.

  4. Please include both of the following statements in the body of the notice:

    1. “I hereby state that I have a good faith belief that the disputed use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law (e.g., as a fair use).”

    2. "I hereby state that the information in this Notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that I am the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of the copyright or of an exclusive right under the copyright that is allegedly infringed.”
